The UOC Orthopaedics of Sora deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the Locomotor System. In ordinary hospitalization and day surgery (DH, APA, AMB, PAC and PO), degenerative, inflammatory and traumatic diseases of the osteoarticular system are diagnosed and treated with a traditional, arthroscopic and minimally-invasive approach.
As part of the activities carried out, a specific path is reserved for the treatment of fractures of the femoral neck in the elderly.

Patients attend the Facility through the Hospital Emergency Department and the outpatient clinic, through the CUP.
Services/Activities provided
The UOC Orthopaedics of Sora consists of the following services:
- Inpatient unit: 14 beds (4 double rooms and 1 quadruple room). Visitor entry hours are from 12.00 to 13.00 and from 17.00 to 18.00;
- Day Surgery Unit: with 4 beds (2M and 2F) it is active from Monday (7.00 am – 7.00 pm) to Saturday (7.00 am – 2.00 pm). It is possible to perform DH, DS, APA, AMB, PAC and PO (preparation for orthopaedic surgery of choice);
- Outpatient clinic: carries out the activity on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm;
- Gypsum room: it is active daily, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in which consultations are carried out for the P.S. and for the other OUs, dressings, infiltrations, etc.;
- Operating sessions: these are normally held on Monday from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm and on Wednesday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
