Food safety is the result of the commitment of those who, in agri-food production, act and interact with the aim of providing safe food to the consumer.
The Food Safety Week, now in its third edition thisyear, aims to create a moment of meeting and discussion aimed at sharing the objectives and amplifying the results of everyone’s commitment.
For this reason, the slogan of the event is Food Safety, Everyone’s business – Food Safety, everyone’s interest, coined by the United Nations (UN) on the occasion of the first World Day on Food Safety.
Recipients, and at the same time promoters, and collaborators of the event are the Competent Authority, representatives of the productive world, through Bodies and Associations, the world of professions, Universities, Consumers.
The 2019 edition is characterized by the involvement in the organization of the Veterinary Services of the ASL of Latina as well as of the ASL of Frosinone, a condition that has helped to extend the scope of interest and resonance to all of lower Lazio.
