Cassino Mental Health Unit

The Cassino Mental Health UOC is a complex structure within the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Diseases with a clinical and technical management task of primary and secondary prevention activities in mental health for citizens of the territory of District D.

Through the Mental Health Centres, it guarantees the activities related to Mental Health with services and diagnostic-therapeutic-rehabilitative paths, also in continuity of care with other territorial and hospital structures. The services are provided in the clinic and/or at home.

It develops projects and takes care of people with mental discomfort or mental disorder aimed at care and rehabilitation, social and emotional inclusion, the enjoyment of citizenship rights, support for families and the context of life. It focuses on the multidimensional assessment of the needs of the person with multidisciplinary responses with a view to general health and social and health integration.

Recipients

The recipients of the Mental Health UOC are the population of the territory of District D from 18 years of age onwards for promotion, prevention, care and treatment in the field of mental health.

Services / Activities provided

The services provided by the Mental Health UOC are aimed at:

ensure the best use, in a coordinated and integrated manner, of the resources allocated;
to promote the implementation of therapeutic and/or rehabilitation programmes, including an integrated approach through outpatient and home-based interventions;
promote the design-co-design and verification of individual paths, therapeutic and rehabilitation plans of people in District D who need to be placed in psychiatric residential facilities in correlation with Departmental UVM;
psychological and/or psychiatric advice to the services of the District D territory and the Polo D hospital;
evaluation, in order to continuously improve the quality of the procedures adopted and take care of the information flows to the Department and District D;
continuous training for staff, for trainees of University Boards of Directors in the territory and/or affiliated with AUSL of Frosinone, research in the field of Mental Health.

The UOC Mental Health of Cassino is accessed at the CSM of Cassino and at the CSM of Pontecorvo:

in case of urgency: direct access without formalities;
in the event of a programmable activity: with the commitment of the attending physician and with reservation;
in the case of psychological/psychiatric counselling: at the request of the Director of District D for the health services of District D and of the Hospital Health District for the UOCs of Pole D.

Reception Time

The Cassino Mental Health Unit is open to the public every day from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm and on Wednesdays from 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
