The UOSD Retinal Vitreous Surgery is a simple departmental structure within the Hospital Department.
Services / Activities provided
- surgical interventions for the main eye diseases (cataract, retinal detachment, macular retinal diseases, vitreoctomy, surgery of tumour and reconstructive anesthesia for pathology);
- intravitreal therapies – intravitreal punctures;
- diagnostics – second-level eye examinations;
- second-level instrumental diagnostics.

Reception Time
The Vitreous Retinal Surgery Unit receives users every day from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
