The UOSD Accreditation, Supervision and Control of Private Structures performs in particular the following tasks:
- manage, in agreement with the Prevention Department, the authorisation and accreditation procedures for Private Health Facilities and periodic checks to verify the maintenance of the requirements;
- plan, manage and carry out control activities both in terms of verifying the appropriateness and congruence of inpatient and outpatient specialist services provided by Accredited Health Facilities;
- support the Strategic Management, through the production of data and analysis in decisions regarding the provision of new Health Facilities to meet the needs of services expressed by citizens;
- ensure the correct management of control flows to the Region and information back to the Accredited Health Facilities.
