Specialist services, diagnostics and laboratory analyses can be booked by telephone by calling the regional ReCUP or by going in person to the Unified Booking Centres (CUP) at the Toll Free Number: 06.9939.
The toll-free number answers every day from 07.30 to 19.30, on Saturdays from 07.30 to 13.00.
For the reservation it is necessary to have the prescription of the general practitioner except for some types of visits such as:
- gynaecological and obstetric examinations, amniocentesis interviews;
- dental examination;
- paediatric examination;
- visit of child psychiatry and neuropsychiatry;
- performance and controls provided by diabetology services;
- optometric measurements (measurement of vision not to be confused with ophthalmic examination. The medical prescription is required for this service).
The payment of the ticket (if due) can be made at the ASL CUPS also on the same day of the visit or at a tobacconist by presenting the ReCUP booking receipt.
Copies of medical records can also be paid at CUP counters.
