The ASL of Frosinone, with the Animal Health Area Veterinary Service, in line with what has already been done in the field of Social Dentistry, to offer concrete help to the weak groups of society, within the 2022/2023 Prevention Plan, has included a Social Veterinary activity to offer free basic health treatments, for owned dogs and cats, to population groups with an ISEE of less than 13,000 euros.
The purpose of the initiative is to:
- A decrease in social distances
- Education on the conscious possession of pets
- Combating stray animals through birth control and the registration of dogs in the registry
- Combating human communicable diseases
- Improving animal welfare conditions
