Generosity has always been one of the distinctive traits of the Chiociaro people. And in times of emergency and difficulty, such as the current one, his heart grows even bigger and gestures of solidarity multiply.
In recent times there have been several donations to the Local Health Authority of Frosinone, in particular three devices that will increase the technological equipment of some hospitals, the result of a positive climate that has been created thanks to the will and commitment of the Local Health Authority to be ever closer to the citizens.
This commitment is rewarded by the esteem that so many patients have shown in recent months, sending numerous letters of thanks to the health professionals who have taken care of them.
The “Let’s Help Cassino Hospital” Committee donated a Thoracicoscope complete with accessories for the Pneumology department of Santa Scolastica. It is an endoscopic instrument that provides for introduction into the pleural cavity and can be used to visualize the cavity (pleuroscopy) and perform diagnostic procedures.
From the “Rotary Club” of Fiuggi comes a Multiparameter Monitor with accessories for the Neonatology department of the Hospital of Frosinone to complete the donation of a neonatal crib provided in 2020. The Monitor allows you to simultaneously detect the four vital parameters of the newborn (heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen saturation) and is useful in all situations in which intensive patient monitoring is required but also as a guide in neonatal resuscitation maneuvers in the delivery room.
The association “Diritto alla Salute” of Anagni has made a Lifepack cr2 Semi-automatic Defibrillator available to the PAT service of the Healthcare Facility of the City of Popes. The device is capable of defibrillating the muscular walls of the heart safely, since it is equipped with sensors to recognize cardiac arrest due to defibrillatable arrhythmias, ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
To these donations have been added others that are in the preliminary phase.
The Asl of Frosinone thanks the three associations for their generosity and for wanting to make a significant contribution to the health of the territory.
Other proposals have also come from civil society for truly laudable initiatives such as that of the Cassino Comic Book School, which wanted to make the Pediatrics department of Santa Scolastica more welcoming with the creation and posting of cute drawings to cheer up young patients during the period of hospital stay.
