All the way to digitization. The ASL of Frosinone works quickly to create the Electronic Health Dossier, the digital collection of electronic documents on the health of the citizen.
The novelty that the Company intends to introduce is the overcoming of the electronic medical record used exclusively in the hospital environment, and its expansion outside health facilities, up to medical surgeries and home care.
This will allow all ASL health professionals in the hospital and in the territory to have at their disposal all the documentation of the activities carried out by the patient, a complete picture of his state of health for better diagnosis and treatment.
In the Electronic Health Dossier you will therefore find documents and reports collected during outpatient visits or hospital admissions and for doctors and nurses, with the patient’s authorisation, it will be easier to know the medical history of the citizen whose file will be identified through the tax code.
The use of these tools allows not only a planning of the health activity of individual citizens but also an accurate management control, because you can also know in real time how to work within the clinics, what are the deficiencies and needs of the same.
The Electronic Health File ends up in an ASL database, and is then indexed by the Regional Electronic Health File, becoming accessible also from outside provincial borders, and throughout Italy.
Therefore, if the citizen needs to move outside their territory to make visits and examinations, the continuity of their care path can be guaranteed because even doctors from other regions, by accessing the electronic health file, fed by the company file, have the opportunity to know the clinical picture of the person. To carry out the project, all ASL staff will be adequately trained. In addition, an app will be made available to citizens from which to access their data and on which it will be possible to use artificial intelligence tools to help doctors and patients to treat and be treated in the best way
