The ASL of Frosinone has organized, for Saturday, December 17, an Open Day with the offer of the flu vaccine for grandparents, parents, teenagers and children, opening four offices that cover the entire provincial territory.
From 8.30 am to 1.30 pm, the operators of the Vaccination Service, coordinated by Dr. Maria Gabriella Calenda, will be available to those who want to protect themselves from the seasonal flu that, in these weeks, is circulating among people.
No reservation required, direct access and recommended for all age groups.

Dr. Calenda’s appeal
“Seasonal influenza has arrived earlier than in other years, registering, in recent weeks, a significant increase in cases with the epidemic curve that is rising exponentially. Fever, even very high, cold and a lot of cough: symptomatology that lasts several days and already forces many adults and children to bed with a serious risk of complications for fragile subjects due to age and pathological condition. We had assumed this, considering the situation experienced in the two years of the pandemic, but this advance on the timing and virulence of the different forms risk increasing the number of cases even more.
But we still have time to defend ourselves with vaccination: the flu vaccine has been used for many years, effective and safe, which allows us to protect ourselves and everyone around us. The more we increase the number of vaccinated subjects, the less the virus will have the opportunity to circulate and affect the most fragile. And that is why, in addition to the enormous work that the GMMs, PLSs and Vaccine Services are carrying out in the Flu Vaccination Campaign, we have organized the Flu Open Day for Saturday, December 17, with activation in all four Company Districts. Vaccination will be offered to everyone who has not yet been vaccinated and will decide to do so. We trust in the sensitivity and adhesion of our population to finally spend, after two years of pandemic, the Christmas Holidays together with our loved ones in serenity and joy!”
