Support for foreign women and men who are victims of violence.
It is the service that, in conjunction with the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women”, the Multiethnic Service of the ASL of Frosinone, directed by Dr. Mario Limodio, has started to assist women but also men of foreign nationality who go to the Emergency Room because they are victims of violence.
A project that involves the valuable collaboration of Coop Diaconia, with which a memorandum of understanding has been signed, and the Municipality of Frosinone, awarded specific funding for the implementation of interventions aimed at the social integration of migrants present in the territory, in particular in fragile and vulnerable conditions.
Through the project, the UOSD Integrated Health Services provides translation-cultural mediation interventions in the mother tongue by the beneficiaries involved, in favor of immigrants who go to the Emergency Room, to give them the opportunity to better tell what happened and allow health professionals to take care of the patient.
