The melanoma prevention campaign by the Asl of Frosinone has started with great momentum, and in the first two days it has already collected 200 subscriptions for the screening days.
It is not a simple reservation that is made by calling the dedicated number 0775.8822452, but a telephone interview with the healthcare professional, preliminary and preparatory to the visit.
To meet the many demands, exceeding expectations, it has been doubled.
The days dedicated to visits and screening are scheduled on 4, 21, 28 and 31 May and are reserved for those with at least one of the following risk factors: complexion and light eyes, presence of more than 50 snows, family history of skin cancers.
May is also the month dedicated to the itinerant oncological screening campaign for the prevention of cervical, breast and colon cancers.
In this regard, the Asl of Frosinone has scheduled a tour of the “Prevention Truck”, a motorhome that will reach numerous territories from the following dates:
- Sunday 15 May Ceprano;
- Saturday 21 May Liri Island;
- Sunday 22 May Atina;
- Saturday 28 May Ferentino;
- Sunday 29 May Ripi;
- Friday 3 June Piglio;
- Sunday 5 June Sora;
- Saturday 2 July Fiuggi;
- Saturday, July 23, Veroli;
- Sunday 24 July Ausonia.
An evolving calendar, to these dates will be added others that will be communicated soon.
Women between the ages of 50 and 69 who have not had a mammogram in the previous 24 months can access it.
Reservations will also be made for cervical screening: Pap tests for women between 25 and 29 years of age, HPV tests for women between 30 and 64 years of age.
Fecal occult blood screening kits, screening tests for colorectal cancers, will be distributed to women and men between the ages of 50 and 74.
