Stroke Care Simulations
Stroke must be treated in Cassino, Sora and Alatri as in Frosinone.
According to this principle, we decided to activate the treatment of Stroke also in the centers of Sora Alatri and Cassino, starting a training course in the field with the in situ simulation methodology. In this way, it is possible to simulate all the actions that are carried out from the moment the stroke patient arrives in the Emergency Room until treatment with intravenous thrombosis.
This training makes it possible not only to apply the protocols for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients recognised at national and international level, but also to qualify the personnel involved in their application. It also makes it possible to optimize the organization and the actual path that the patient must take in all phases of care.
The treatment is carried out with the help of medicine in connection with the UTN of the Spaziani hospital in Frosinone.
In this way, all patients arriving at the HCPs of Sora, Cassino and Alatri will have uniformity of care, reducing the risk of death and disability.
