From Sicily to Fabrizio Spaziani in Frosinone for a delicate brain surgery.
It is the story of a 38-year-old islander, seriously ill, who after undergoing consultations in several hospitals in the national territory, went to the Neurosurgery department of the hospital structure of the capital of Chioca where he found his lifeline.
In the consultations carried out, in fact, the man had not been advised to have surgery because he was considered at high risk, for him serious post-intervention complications had been foreseen until death
This is how, at the suggestion of some friends, he decided to contact Dr. La Pira, a neurosurgeon at the Spaziani hospital where he was treated and underwent a delicate crianiotomy and macroscopically complete removal of the tumour.
A perfectly successful operation. The patient did not report any neurological sequelae, three hours after the surgery he was already able to mobilise himself. He was discharged after three days of observation, returning to embrace his family in his Sicily, publicly thanking on social media the entire Neurosurgery department directed by Dr. Giancarlo D’Andrea and the Spaziani professionals who welcomed him, from the emergency room to the operating room.
