Fourth dose: the ASL launches the Vaccine Campaign for the most fragile groups

Go to the fourth dose of the Covid vaccine at the Asl of Frosinone.

The Ministerial Circular of 8 April 2022 established the importance and start of “second booster” doses (4 doses) for people over 80, for people with high frailty from 60 to 79 years of age and for guests of RSAs and nursing homes.

The fourth dose is therefore a further booster, which must be administered at least 120 days after the end of the primary cycle.

As of Wednesday, April 13, reservations for “second boosters” will be open on the dedicated regional website, Lazio Region Vaccine Reservation.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 12 April 2022, in the ASL of Frosinone, it will be possible to carry out the 4th dose for the affected categories without reservation with direct access to the currently active company vaccine hubs.

The ASL of Frosinone was immediately activated for the new vaccination campaign to protect the oldest section of the territory. There are about 39,000 over 80s in the province, the same ones who had paved the way for the battle against the virus with the first dose in February 2021.

This time, they are joined by the guests of RSA and nursing homes and the most vulnerable over 60.

WHO ARE THE FRAGILE OVER 60S
Fragile over 60s include those suffering from cardiovascular diseases (advanced heart failure, cardiogenic post-shock patients), neurological diseases (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, infantile cerebral palsy, myasthenia gravis), dysimmune or respiratory neurological diseases, diabetes, anaemias, cystic fibrosis, thalassemia and severe obesity, who have already completed the vaccination cycle.
