Modern innovations in the field of surgery and medical therapy of the head-neck district and the look towards future therapeutic possibilities.
These are the themes at the centre of the congress to be held on 23 and 24 September at the Sala della Ragione in Anagni, organised by Dr Andrea Marzetti, Director of the UOC of Otorhinolaryngology and Maxillofacial Surgery of the ASL in Frosinone in collaboration with the Director of the Roman Lazio Group of Otorhinolaryngology and Cervical-Facial Surgery.
This is the 61st congress of the regional group, a scientific society that brings together all the specialists in otolaryngology and the like from Rome and Lazio.
The inaugural ceremony of the conference will be opened by the Director General of the ASL of Frosinone Dr. Angelo Aliquò, the Mayor of Anagni Daniele Natalia, the Secretary of the Commission for Social Affairs and Health Chamber of Deputies Fabiola Bologna and the Chief Police Commissioner of the Province of Frosinone Domenico Condello.
The scientific session of the congress will open with a keynote lecture on the themes of future developments in territorial health that will be held by Dr. Pierpaola D’Alessandro, former General Director of the ASL of Frosinone, current Deputy General Director – Roma Capitale Servizi Salute e Persona.
The scientific program will touch on the most important topics of otolaryngology with a specific focus on the importance and development of territorial health.
There will therefore be two intense days of work involving not only specialist doctors but also audiometricians, nursing staff and doctors in specialist training for whom there will be a real competition between schools.
This is an important initiative for the ASL that, in recent years, has increasingly distinguished itself in the specialties of Otolaryngology and Maxillofacial Surgery, for interventions that have attracted national interest, for surgery courses and for active participation in national and international congresses.
