The ASL of Frosinone stands against violence against women. On November 25, the UOSD Eating Behavioral Disorders, in conjunction with the celebration of the International Day that aims to remember the victims of abuse, abuse and feminicide and combat discrimination and gender inequalities, opens its doors by organizing an Open Day for Women’s Mental Health.
The Women’s Mental Health Clinical Center of Viale Mazzini in Frosinone, belonging to the UOSD DCA, deals with the psychological and psychiatric therapy of adult women affected by psychopathologies related to violence, abuse and stalking, who need accompaniment in the anti-violence process.
From 2016 to 2022 (June), 148 women in the province of Frosinone who had suffered ill-treatment, domestic or sexual violence or stalking were followed with individual and group psychotherapy and/or psychopharmacological treatment. Currently there are 21 women in therapy.
Women who belong to the Clinical Center are accompanied, in collaboration with the Anti-Violence Network of the Province of Frosinone which includes public institutions, health services and anti-violence associations, through the path out of the psychological and physical damage suffered, often a very long and complex path.
THE INITIATIVE
Just shut up, come and talk to us about it! This is the slogan chosen by ASL’s UOSD DCA, directed by Dr. Franca Marzella, for the day of 25 November. Doors open from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm at the Women’s Mental Health Centre in Viale Mazzini District B ground floor, with direct access, without appointment, for women who want to meet the operators in a safe and comfortable environment, to carry out free psychological and psychiatric interviews.
The SMD Clinical Center will accompany you towards the way out of the spiral of violence, a network in which women remain entangled for fear of denouncing or out of shame.
Information material will also be distributed to all women.

The open day on 25 November will take place from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm, but the Clinical Centre is active throughout the year at the following times:
- Monday, Thursday, Friday 8-14 am
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8am to 5pm
