An innovative approach to promote awareness and prevention of heart failure in the population.
The AISC (Italian Association of Cardiac Compensation) mobile clinic, with medical and nursing staff on board, will stop at the hospital facilities of the Asl of Frosinone to carry out free preliminary visits and tests for the diagnosis and prevention of heart failure as well as diagnostic tests for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and to distribute information material.
Heart failure is caused by the inability of the heart to perform its normal pump function and to ensure proper blood supply to all organs. It is not always easily diagnosed: in the early stage, in fact, the disease can be asymptomatic. That’s why prevention is essential.

The words of the General Manager Dr. Pierpaola D’Alessandro
“We wanted to give a strong signal in the post-state of emergency, first opening, for a month, clinics for women’s prevention, then dedicating the whole of May to melanoma prevention and mammographic screening, now cardiological prevention. We will always continue with this method, focusing strongly on prevention, on the culture of a conscious lifestyle, on in-depth knowledge of the problems, to really improve the health status of the population. On these aspects, the ASL has never stopped for a single moment”.
